BASS LAKE 250

The Bass Lake ride is one of the most anticipated rides on the Dualie calendar. Every year, Larry comes up with 250 miles of some of the best roads and single track you could ever hope to ride in California.

Avery on cody trail

The log sluice was quite a treat this last year. From the single track getting up to it and then riding down the sluice where the loggers used to slide trees down on waxed boards that were still present after 50 years and still very slick!

blaise on rocky road

The single track varies from a loamy roller coaster ride to rocky, hug the side of the mountain technical. Water crossings are one of Larry’s favorite things to find for the ride. If you come up, make sure you waterproof your bike. If you don’t you might get a water crossing named after yourself, Dyrck’s crossing comes to mind!!!!

Bring a friend to ride with or find a riding partner when you get up here. You’ll want someone with you on the trail is case you need to do a repair or have your picture taken! We normally have a GPS download available so bring your cable. This isn’t the ride you’d want to bring your BMW or Transalp on.  Smaller dirtbike type dualsports will be in their best form on this ride. It is preferred that you are an experienced rider capable of handling some tougher trails as there aren’t any easy ways on this ride!
