"Clear the Gear" fundraiser

Here’s a new Dualie fundraiser you can be a part of with very little effort!
Dualie members are cleaning up their garages this winter, donating their used MC gear and accessories to the Club in support of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Then Dualies members sell them on eBay and donate the money. So far, we’ve received a chest protector, some Shop Manuals, a pair of kids riding boots, two fanny packs and a couple helmets. More is on the way – go look in your garage or storage locker.
Be part of the effort. Bring your clean, usable items to the Christmas Party or any Dualie Meetings. Members will take them home, run ads on eBay, sell them and ship your donated items to the buyers. All net proceeds after eBay, PayPal and shipping costs will be donated directly to PBTF from the club. For larger donations, Dennis Towgood (Treasurer) can provide a tax-donation receipt for your use.
This is a great time to clean out the old, and make room for the new. Help celebrate the Holiday Season. We’ve set an initial goal to raise $2000 over the next 4 months, so let’s get started. President “Fast Lane” has asked Steve Lorenze, Dennis Towgood and Eric Bondus to lead the Dualie’s “Clear the Gear” efforts and they’ll provide progress reports at our monthly meetings.
