Dualies Club Membership

    Dualies Membership is only $35 per calendar year!

    New Member Fee
    ***  January 1st through June 30th = $35.00
    ***  July 1st through October 31st = $30 .00 for remainder of calendar year
    ***  November 1st through December 31st = $35.00 for remainder of year and all of following year

    Membership Renewal
    ALL Club members are required to renew their membership online to update their contact information.
    The renewal fee is the same as the new member fee.
    If payment is made in-person, this electronic release form must still be completed.      
    Only active club members (those who have paid their dues and completed electronic release) will received emails and have access to the Dualies chat group on the GroupMe app.  The GroupMe app is where the Dualies coordinate club events, monthly rides, meetings, dinners, etc.
    Prospective members who are interested in joining the club may attend a club meeting but will not be permitted to participate in any club events until the electronic release is signed and the member fee is paid.

    Member Registration
    The AMA is the #1 protector of your right to ride, provides our club with a Charter and supplies insurance at all AMA sanctioned events.  To maintain our AMA club charter status, all officers must be an AMA member and club members are strongly encouraged to join the AMA.  If you're not a current AMA member, click here to join today and then return here to complete your registration.

    Read the statement below and click "submit" to confirm and acknowledge that I will NOT hold the OC Dualies and its officers responsible in the event that I am injured while participating in a club activity or event.

    I understand I will be expected to participate in at least one club fundraising activity which may involve motorcycle riding and that I will attend at least one club meeting each year.  I understand that the club membership period is a calendar year, from January 1st through December 31st of each year.  Renewal is due by February 1st each year.  New members who join the club after November 1st will have valid membership through December 31st of the following year.  A Dualies T-shirt is included with membership and may be picked up at our monthly meetings.  Please note we do not mail T-shirts to members. 

    Club communication is through email and the GroupMe app.  At the end of the calendar year, I will be removed from the Club email and the Club GroupMe app unless I renew my membership.  I can also request to be removed at any time.

    As an Orange County Dualies Member, I agree to abide and support the club bylaws as adopted by the club.  I also agree to hold the club and its officers harmless in the event that I am injured while participating in a club activity.  I understand that the club is a non-profit corporation and that riding motorcycles involves risk.

    Fine Print:      IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to participate, compete, officiate, observe, work for, or participate in any way in any Orange County Dualie (OC Dualie) EVENT(S) or being permitted to enter for any purpose any RESTRICTED AREA (defined as any area requiring special authorization, credentials or permission to enter or any area to which admission by the general public is restricted or prohibited, including, but not limited to, the competition area and a hot pit or paddock area) THE UNDERSIGNED, for himself/herself, his/her personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin:
    1. Acknowledges, agrees, and represents that he/she has or will immediately upon entering any such RESTRICTED AREAS, and will continuously thereafter, inspect the RESTRICTED AREAS which he/she enters and he/she further agrees and warrants that, if at any time, he/she is in or about RESTRICTED AREAS and he/she feels anything to be unsafe, he/she will immediately advise the officials of such and will leave the RESTRICTED AREAS and/or refuse to participate further in the OC Dualie EVENT(S).
    2. HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE the OC Dualies, Officers, promoters, participants, racing associations, sanctioning organizations or any affiliated entities thereof, track operators, track owners, officials, vehicle owners, riders, crews, rescue personnel, and persons in any RESTRICTED AREA, sponsors, advertisers, owners and lessees of premises used to conduct the OC Dualie EVENT(S), premises and event inspectors, surveyors, underwriters/brokers, consultants and others who give recommendations, directions, or instructions or engage in risk evaluation or loss control activities regarding the premises or OC DUALIE EVENT(S) and for each of them, their directors, officers, agents, employees, all for the purposes herein referred to as
    “RELEASEES,” from ALL LIABILITY, ON ANY LEGAL THEORY, TO THE UNDERSIGNED, his/her personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin, FOR ANY AND ALL LOSS OR DAMAGE, AND ANY CLAIM OR DEMANDS THEREFORE ON ACCOUNT OF INJURY TO THE PERSON OR PROPERTY OR RESULTING IN DEATH OF THE UNDERSIGNED ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE OC DUALIE EVENT(S), WHETHER CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE.
    3. HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS the RELEASEES and each of them FROM ANY LOSS, LIABILITY, DAMAGE, OR COST they may incur arising out of, or related IN ANY MANNER, TO MY ATTENDANCE AT, OR PARTICIPATION IN ALL OC DUALIE EVENT(S).
    4. HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE arising out of, or related to all OC DUALIE EVENT(S) whether caused by the NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE.
    5. HEREBY acknowledges that THE ACTIVITIES OF THE OC DUALIE EVENT(S) ARE VERY DANGEROUS and involve the risk of serious injury and/or property damage. Each of THE UNDERSIGNED also expressly acknowledges that INJURIES RECEIVED MAY BE COMPOUNDED OR INCREASED BY NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATIONS OR PROCEDURES OF THE RELEASEES.
    6. HEREBY agrees that this Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement extends to all acts of negligence by the RELEASEES, INCLUDING NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATIONS, and is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the State or Province in which the OC DUALIE EVENT(S) is/are conducted, and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
    I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND HAVE SIGNED FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT, ASSURANCE OR GUARANTEE BEING MADE TO ME AND INTEND MY SIGNATURE TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE

monthly meetings
Club meetings are  held at a Dualies member's home the 1st Thursday of each month.  Be sure to look on our Facebook page for any meeting updates or send us an e-mail at ocdualies@gmailcom.  Registered club members also receive an email reminder each month from our communications officer.

Dualies Burgers are served from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM for a $10.00 donation.  Bring your own beverage . Car, truck or motorcycle parking is always free. Enter through the side gate near the street.

After dinner, the club will introduce new attendees and members so we have the opportunity to know them and find out what kind of motorcycle they ride.  Often new and old members will share a story about a recent ride or their plans for new ride.  Meetings are casual and a good way to socialize with other members and learn more about dual sport riding.

Meetings generally last until 9:00 PM or longer if weather permits and the host doesn't kick us out.
